Alabaster is located on the central east coast of Elsweyr near the city of Leyawiin. Near Alabaster is Lake Vread where a series of Vellum Scrolls are found in 3 Alabaster Jars in a cave in Vread. West of Alabaster is a town which exists in the Fourth Era.
The Youth of Alabaster tends to have the Khajiit Honorifics at the beginning of the name rather than the end like most Khajiit.
Sometime in Ancient Elsweyr, Alabaster was an established settlement. Near Lake Vread is a cave with 3 Alabaster made Jars with a series of Vellum Scrolls found inside. The man who found these scrolls was Baan Dar.
During the Imperial Simulacrum, the Eternal Champion had at one point visited the city in their quest for a piece of the Staff of Chaos. A scribe in Alabaster discovered that the legendary blade known as Chrysamere has resurfaced somewhere around Tamriel. The Champion ventured throughout the continent and found the sword of Heroes.
- In earlier development, Arena was going to be a Tournament-based game. Alabaster's team was known as the Nightrunners.[OOG 1]
- Alabaster's name may have come from the Alabaster Mineral which is a soft rock used to make sculptures. Alabaster in Elder Scrolls is used in Spires in the Alik'r Desert.
