Alessandra's Dagger is a One-Handed weapon that appears in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
Background
Alessandra's Dagger is owned by Alessandra of Riften. It belonged to Alessandra's father and it was given to her when she was training to become a priestess of Arkay. After completing the training, she received a new ceremonial dagger and now she wishes to return the old one to her father's corpse in the Hall of the Dead in Whiterun, as a way of making peace.
Acquisition
The dagger is a quest item given to the Dragonborn as part of a miscellaneous quest to deliver it to Andurs in Whiterun. The dagger is removed upon completion of the quest.
Usefulness
The dagger has the same base damage as a steel dagger, but loses much of its value at higher levels, especially when Dwarven or glass daggers become more readily available, although the low weight value may be beneficial for a minimal weight build.
Trivia
This section contains bugs related to Alessandra's Dagger. Before adding a bug to this list, consider the following:
|
- 360 Rarely, it can be pickpocketed from Alessandra before the quest has begun.
- Alessandra says her father's remains are located in Windhelm; this is likely a developer oversight, as they are in fact located in Whiterun.
- During the quest, although the dagger is a quest item, it can be put in a weapon rack, but not given to followers.
