Alessandra's Dagger is a unique Iron Dagger and quest item found in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

HistoryEdit

The dagger is owned by Alessandra of Riften. It belonged to Alessandra's father and it was given to her when she was training to become a Priest of Arkay. After completing the training, she received a new ceremonial dagger and now she wishes to return the old one to her father's corpse in the Hall of the Dead in Whiterun, as a way of making peace.

AcquisitionEdit

The dagger is a quest item given to the Dragonborn as part of a miscellaneous quest to deliver it to Andurs in Whiterun. The dagger is removed upon completion of the quest.

UsefulnessEdit

The dagger has the same base damage as a Steel Dagger, but loses much of its value at higher levels, especially when Dwarven or Glass Daggers become more readily available, although the low weight value may be beneficial for a minimal weight build.

TriviaEdit

• Rarely, it can be pickpocketed from Alessandra before the quest has begun.
• Alessandra says her father's remains are located in Windhelm; this is far from the truth: They are in fact located in Whiterun.
