Alfarinn is a carriage driver in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. He is found at the stable outside Windhelm.

InteractionsEdit

For 20-50 Septims, Alfarinn will Fast Travel the Dragonborn to a chosen Hold capital in Skyrim.

The option to travel to a Hold capital is available even if the player hasn't discovered it yet, making carriages a very useful method of transport early in the game. If attacked, he will jump off of his carriage and proceed to attack the Dragonborn. Attempting to steal from him will show nothing in his inventory. Only after being assaulted and killed can the Dragonborn take anything from him.

TriviaEdit

His name is remarkably similar to the Old Norse álfrinn and modern Icelandic álfurinn, both meaning "the elf".
