Arrow in the Knee is an action card in The Elder Scrolls: Legends.

Acquisition[]

  • Arrow in the Knee can be soul summoned for 50 soul gems.
  • Arrow in the Knee can be obtained from core Card Packs.

Strategy[]

The card is considerably cheap, and is suggested to be picked during the start of a game. It is not suggested to use the card on a creature with 1 health unless it is an emergency, due to the Shackle attribute of the card going to waste.

Arrow in the Knee should be used on cards with high attack powers, as it will prevent them from attacking the next turn, saving you health or your creatures' defense. If possible with the deck and cards available in your hand, the card should be used on enemies with high defenses, and combined with a wound-related card (i.e. Finish Off) to easily destroy them.

Trivia[]

  • The phrase "Arrow in the Knee" originated from Skyrim as a line of dialogue from Hold Guards, who would say "I used to be an adventurer like you. Then I took an arrow in the knee" when passing by the player. Eventually, it became a widespread meme, becoming an iconic legacy of Skyrim on modern culture.[2] It can therefore be considered an easter egg.
  • During the closed beta, the card was previously named "Arrow to the Knee."[1] However, this changed at some point before the beta opened.
