Azura's Quest is a quest undertaken by the Nerevarine on behalf the Daedric Princess Azura during the events of The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. The main objective of the quest is to settle a bet between Azura and Sheogorath.
- Speak with Azura at her shrine in the Azura's Coast Region.
- Travel to an island in the Sheogorad region, west of Dagon Fel.
- Slay the Golden Saint Staada.
- Return to Shrine of Azura with proof of Sheogorath's influence.
The shrine of Azura is located in the southeastern corner of Vvardenfell, on an island in the Azura's Coast region, where a large statue of Azura can be found. Below this statue, there is the entrance to a shrine. Within, a smaller statue of the Daedric Princess can be activated. Azura will then speak to the Nerevarine of a task, for which the Nerevarine will be greatly rewarded if completed.
Resolving Azura and Sheogorath's betEdit
Azura reveals that she had previously made a bet with the Daedric Prince of Madness, Sheogorath, concerning a mortal by the name of Rayna Drolan. Azura believes that Sheogorath has broken the rules of their bet by sending several daedra, including a Golden Saint named Staada, to disturb Rayna Drolan. She will then request that the Nerevarine go to the secluded island where Drolan lives and find proof of Sheogorath's influence.
The island itself can be found in the region of Sheogorad, located northwest of the town of Dagon Fel. It has become the residence of several Daedra. The Nerevarine will find Staada near Rayna Drolan's Shack and must defeat the Daedras and the Golden Saint. The Hero must then retreive Sheogorath's Signet Ring from Staada's body.
Note: Disturbing Rayna Drolan during the quest will cause Azura to lose her bet with Sheogorath (However, this does not affect the reward and the quest may still be completed).
Return to AzuraEdit
The Nerevarine will report back to Azura, at the shrine. Azura will be angered at the news of Sheogorath's actions. Despite her anger, Azura will then reward the Nerevarine with Azura's Star, before ending the conversation. The Nerevarine may also keep Sheogorath's Signet Ring.

|10||I have spoken with Azura, Queen of the Night Sky, at her shrine. She has tasked me to travel to an island near Dagon Fel and rid the island of the daedra Sheogorath has sent, and to bring back proof that he sent them. I may not disturb Rayna Drolan, the woman living there. If I can do this for her, she will reward me well.

|30||I returned to the Shrine of Azura to let it be known I have cleared the island of the daedra there and returned with proof that Sheogorath was behind the problems. Azura was grateful, and rewarded me with her Star, a magical soul gem of immense power.
|40||I returned to the Shrine of Azura. She was not pleased that I had disturbed the solace of Rayna Drolan, for she now must forfeit the wager.

- Azura's shrine is one of the only Daedric shrines not to have been damaged in Vvardenfell.
