Hey guys, I was wondering what other people's thoughts on Elder Scrolls: Online. I'm liking the lore, the layout, and the mass Tamrielic expansion (I've always wanted to go to High Rock and Hammerfell.). But the graphics and animations look somewhat bad. They remind me of Oblivion's animations, not bad, but compared to Skyrim's animations, like un-sheathing a weapon, in Skyrim it's nearly realistic if not already realistic, but in ESO it appears to seem kind of bad animations, like Oblivion, not saying that it's terrible, but it seems like they're taking a step backwards. The graphics are noticeably better than Oblivion, not great, but it looks like they still kept similar animations. Thoughts?~ Alduin's Bane ~

The Daggerfall wiki pages are in dire need of help. So I recently made a download page that actually lets you play the game unlike the download page that is there when you click on Daggerfall. Here is my page: Easy Daggerfall Download. I encourage everyone to download it and the nescesary programs, and add to the daggerfall pages.
If you have any questions about the install process leave a message on my talk page.

Wikia is here at E3 and we recently got a chance to get hands-on with The Elder Scrolls Online. To be honest, I was a big naysayer when I first saw the game last year. The game had been in a development for a long time and it failed to impress. After playing the game myself yesterday, it's glaringly clear the team has put a lot of effort into improving the look and feel of Elder Scrolls: Online.
I don't want to get into too many details about my short time with the game, but feel free to ask questions in the comments if you have any.
Some of you already submitted questions for the show, so let's cut to the chase. Here are the answers I could scrounge up from Bethesda representatives about The Elder Scrolls Online!
1. Will The Elder Scrolls on…

So Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) is coming out, as we all know. When they first announced it I was so excited, then I stopped to think about it . . . and there are a ton of pitfalls to overcome before this becomes a good idea. Over the past few months I've been doing more and more digging to see what they are fixing and what they aren't, what they're trying to avoid and what they might walk right into. So I'd like to now take you on a shortened version of my journey of discovery, if you'd be so kind as to sit back and enjoy the rant!
Let's start with the company. Bethesda Softworks has been making Elder Scrolls games for twenty years or more, now . . . and they've been doing one helluva job! These are games that pushed limits, tore apart …

I was thinking of what the next Elder Scrolls game would be about and would like to here what you guys think. Will the next game be about the Empire fighting the Thalmor/Aldmeri Dominion in another Great War? What role will the independent states, such as Hamerfell, Argonia, and Skyrim if it becomes independent, play in this war? Do you think the Blades will recover their strength and be able to make a difference? Or will the next Elder Scrolls game take place after this war, just like it skipped the first one? Perhaps there will be peace between the Empire and the Aldmeri Dominion and there will be some greater threat? Where would the next game take place and how will that affect the plot? Do you think there will ever be a single player…

So as you all probably know their are three different classes in Skyrim, the Mage, the Warrior, and the Theif/Assassin. I was just wondering which class you all prefer to use, and which race you like to use them with. Or if you have something in between like Battle-Mage, or Spell-Sword you can share it as well. My personal favorite build in Skyrim is a Nord Crusader. A Crusader is someone who is basically a warrior but uses some magic (usually Destruction and Restoration), or atleast that's what I think it is. I like to do it because it I want to be a Nord Warrior, but I also know magic has a lot to offer, so I use it sometimes. It usually gets the job done pretty well. But tell me in the comments what your favoirte class is, and what race…

What is your favorite DLC released so far for Skyrim? And if none of them suit your particular tastes, what are your favorite DLC-Type Mods for Skyrim?
I really love Dragonborn- mostly because of the Stalhrim armor set and the new location to explore. I haven't been able to try out any mods yet because I don't have a PC version of the game, but I'm planning on getting the Legendary Edition soon for PC and I look forward to trying out Helgen Reborn and Moonpath to Elsweyr!
I've heard great things about the quality of Helgen Reborn. There's good voice acting, interesting characters, an enticing story-line, and an easy 4-8 hours of playing. It seems like a nice little switch-up to Skyrim that I look forward to trying out. I especially can't wa…

Developed by ZeniMax Online Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks, this Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (MMORPG) will be a series first. Taking place on the continent of Tamriel. Players will be able to create character, select a class, and make their own legacy in a constantly evolving online world.
The game will be set a millennium before the events of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. The primary antagonist will…

With the glitch in which a follower can pick up items of any weight with the "I need you to do something for me" request, my follower presently, Faendal, carries probably three times what a normal follower can carry. Because of this, he holds all my extremely heavy armours, like the Nordic Carved Armours, meaning he is stronger than me. Great as a meat shield, but does slow levelling up.

Ok before you vote please read this, I do not want anyone using this as conclusive proof that one side is the best, I will try to make this vote as fair as possible, but it will not be seen by every elder scrolls player so cannot be used as proof that one side is better to then the other.
Anyway since the formalities are over let's get on with this, as you have probably guessed this is just a vote for who you personally think is the best side, legion or stormcloaks, I'm not gonna put any arguments on this blog as you can most defiantly find on this wiki anyway.

So at the beginning of May I wrote a blog refuting common arguments against the Stormcloaks. Well, their were some points that I didn't refute. So I decided to write this blog refuting them.
"Ulfric and the Stormcloaks are racist"
Yes, their are more racism arguments. A lot of people brought up Brunwulf Free-Winter and his point on how Ulfric only helps Nords who are in trouble as opposed to the other races. First of all, I just want to say, I think Brunwulf Free-Winter is an Imperial spy. How would General Tullius have known to make him Jarl? Some say he is a well respected vertran. I have yet to see proof of this though, but if you have some you're welcome to share it in the comments section. But back to the main point about Ulfric suppo…

First off, I would like to start off by saying I know this will probably be shot down quick, but I just feel like there should be another way besides plain leveling to get Skill Points. I personally think that a form of merchant, Skill Merchant, could be added. Each Point would obviously be a large amount of money, but if you have enough money to buy a lot anyways, you are probably a pretty high level, maybe even 81, but I just would like the option. I personally have about 20 characters and only 6 that are 81, but I don't use them as much and, as of right now, am going through characters faster, getting bored. At the moment I am just starting my Argonian and want to get more skill points for Illusion Tree and the Conjuration Tree. I know …

A few blue moons ago, Bethesda announced that they were moving on to a new adventure, leaving The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim behind to work on other projects. This disappointed me, as I felt that the game had at least another add-on in it. It's not that I think the game is in any way incomplete, it just feels like they could have done more with its life cycle. I wouldn't have even minded if they supported Skyrim with little downloadable titbits like a weapon back or a unique set of armour. Unfortunately, I was left wanting more... and not in a good way.
Hearthfire was the add-on for which I was most excited, and it certainly did deliver in some aspects. I actually wrote a review for this one, so some of the points mentioned there will overlap with…

With over 4,000 mods on the Skyrim Workshop there's no shortage of ways to modify Skyrim. You can summon spectral horses, add throwing knives, a mass lightning spell, vampire spell tomes, and give merchants a whole bunch of gold so you can more conveniently offload your gear. While these are certainly convenient, they also break the original design of the game. Merchants aren't supposed to have more gold unless you choose to increase your Speech skill and unlock its perk tree. Maybe you'd rather resist the temptation to bypass the game's deliberate limitations. What constitutes a deliberate limitation is of course relative, but below is a selection of mods that enhance the sound, visuals and interface functionality of Skyrim without fiddli…

The flying mechanics for taming and riding dragons.
Am I the only one who just doesn't understand them? Because it seems to me that everytime I mount a dragon, the second I press a button, my dragon is searching for some place to land. What is especially painful (besides the lack of navigation) is how inefficient it is for traveling. I get to the place I want to be, but when I signal my dragon to land, it ends up going halfway across Solstheim before it actually touches down.
Perhaps I am merely overreacting, but I can't possibly be the only one who feels this way.
OH, and another thing. I hate Apocrypha. The fact that you have to go in there without a follower... all alone... creeps me out...
I always end up summoning my Dremora Lord while I'…

Hello everybody, I'm going to write a blog about my Skyrim character Fjork Ice-Blade and his advantures in Skyrim. I hope you enjoy.
I just started to wake up and I heard the sound of a carriage moving. My head was throbbing and I didn't know where on Nirn on I was. All I remembered was that I was in Cyrodiil hunting a Werewolf. A very powerful one if I'm not mistaken. But that's a story for another day. As my eyes started opening It was a somewhat sunny day, pretty cloudy though. I could smell and feel the cold air and felt dehydrated. Then I saw a man sitting across from me wearing what looked like Windhelm guard armor, then I remembered it was Stormcloak armor. He was a Stormcloak. He said his name was Ralof, he had blonde hair like me …

Once upon a time, there lived this sexy Orc named Orclahoma. She only wore tavern clothes.
She didn't like adventuring much and mostly just stayed at the Orc Stronghold- although she would sometimes visit cities to buy jewlery. Nobody cared at the stronghold. They all kind of ignored Orclahoma. They thought she was an ugly Orc. But she wasn't. She was sexy.
One day, she was sitting by the Longhouse wondering why chiefs from other strongholds wouldn't marry her, when she came to the realization; She was limiting her options. None of the orcs thought she was sexy because they were orcs, and they just didn't understand sexy. So she stole one of their horses and left. The Orcs didn't chase after her. They were glad she was gone. They thought she w…

What is your favorite questline in Skyrim?
Personally, I LOVE the Dark Brotherhood questline. It's hard for me to kill a couple of the innocents (especially that chick at her own wedding and Gaius Maro) but it's still my favorite BY FAR.
There are twists and turns, badass armor, lovable characters, tragedy, emotion, and a two wizard Sanctuarys! (I've been reading Lord of the Flies. Don't judge my British slang!)
All the other questlines seem so tedious and involve Dwemer ruins and Draugr and blah blah blah. The Dark Brotherhood questline is relatively easy, lasts a good 3-4 hours on its own, and doesn't make me kill falmer or recover ancient artifacts in some Draugr crypt (curse you Greaybeaaaarrrdssss!).
Yes, yes, I'm aware that there's some …

There is this thing on tumblr called Skyrim Confessions. I follow them because it's nice to see what other people who play Skyrim think/do while they play, but at the same time, I don't feel like I always connect.
All these people, it seems, who play Skyrim are hardcore role-players. They make characters who have their own back-stories and morals and such.
For example, one person said they made an angsty Argonian who would join the Thieves Guild and Dark Brotherhood, but could never be a Companion or Wizard because magic and strength weren't their character's traits.
Another person said that their character was a Companion, but had strong morals and would only ever steal from really rich, mean people. They wouldn't join the Thieves Guild or …

Hi guys me again, this blog is about how the average person in skyrim (or in tamriel for that matter) would feel about joining a side in the Skyrim civil war.
Ok before I get attacked by people saying this is racist, this is not a racist blog, I'm just wondering what people think would be a legitimate choice for an average person of that race would be.
This is what I have so far:
Imperials would be for the empire (obviously) Bretons would be for the empire as high rock is still a province Orcs would be for the empire as orsinium is in high rock Loyalist nords for the empire
Redguard would be for the stormcloaks as they don't like the empire Traditionalist Nords for the stormcloaks
But I'm not sure about the rest of the other 5 races of bosmer, …

Hi guys, I am here to talk to you about an idea i have been having for sometime now, and this idea is to creat a mod for an overhaul of the civil war quest line with extra factions to join and more in world decisions.
Now you may all know that there is a civil war in Skyrim, and this war has created countless debates on the wiki and other forums about which side is the best choice.
But for me the actual quest was a little boring, for me, it did not really feel like a war at all, it just felt like some light organised bandits that needed to be taken care of.
Ok so my plan is to make a mod so to make the civil war quest line feel more like an actual war.
First off I will have a huge increase in the amount of quests for the civil war. The inducti…

During my first playthrough of Skyrim, I felt dutifully loyal to Astrid and the other members of The Dark Brotherhood. When Cicero flipped shit and tried to attack Astrid, I immediately went back to attack him.
I fought my way through the Dawnstar sanctuary, conquering the lonesome spirits, slaying the giant frost troll, and picking my way through the Sanctuary's mysterious catacombs (which are sealed up once the Dawnstar Sanctuary becomes the new permanent sanctuary).
I was ready for a fight. I had heard Cicero's taunts and teases which slowly transition to lamentations and beseechiness. (How the hell did he project his voice through the Sanctuary?) I was ready to get some payback. I entered the room and say him lying on the floor like the …

After getting a Blades Sword I then enchant it with something I feel would fit for the original owner, like the one I pickpocketed from Delphine I enchanted with Shock damage because I remembered hearing Elves were weaker against it and since she hates the Thalmor I figured it fit to have something that would do some added damage to them, I then changed the name to show it was hers. The one I found on Esbern, I enchanted with Absorb Magicka since he tends to use magic I figured it'd be a smart idea to have something that would absorb magicka since most mages i've seen do…
