Bloodthorn is a unique steel dagger found in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. When used, if the target dies within three seconds, it fills a soul gem.
Acquisition
Bloodthorn can be found on an altar on the balcony of Hag's End.
Smithing
Bloodthorn can be upgraded with a steel ingot and the Arcane Blacksmith perk at a grindstone. It benefits from the Steel Smithing perk, which doubles the improvement.
Trivia
- This dagger cannot be disenchanted to learn the enchantment.
- It also has an Absorb Health enchantment that is not shown in the in-game description.
- If fighting the hagraven at the end of the location at higher levels, she will commonly use Fireballs or Ice Storms against the player, which can lead to the dagger being blasted off the table and hard to find.
