Bonechill Passage is a cave located in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

Description

Bonechill Passage is a cave full of the remains of animals and people that have wandered too far. It has minor loot for those who wish to look around. Bonechill Passage leads to Ancient's Ascent which, upon exploration, you will find the Word of Power, for the Animal Allegiance shout. Note that this is the only designed way of reaching Ancient's Ascent, see Ancient's Ascent for alternative route. When given the quest by Esbern to kill the dragon at Ancient's Ascent the marker will point to the cave. Just outside the cave entrance there is also a shack with 2 burnt corpses outside. Inside is a note to the authorities explaining the Dragon sightings and the pickpocket skill book Purloined Shadows under the bed.

Bugs

•  PC   Shortly after entering the cave, the game may crash to desktop. The time this occurs varies. There are two known fixes: Play in windowed mode or Run services.msc and stop/restart Windows Font Caching Service.
