Burned Books is an item in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Like the Ruined Book, its only use is creating Spell Tomes at the Atronach Forge.

Despite being a book, it is not placed in the 'Books' tab of the inventory, and thus cannot be read or stored on a bookshelf.

Behind the ScenesEdit

• Given that there was no other explanation for the amount of burned books found in several dungeons, this is likely an easter egg to the Fallout series of games by Bethesda and Obsidian Entertainment, the games being Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas.
