The Cape of the Blue Divide resides nearby to the ancient Dwemer city of Stros M'Kai, capital of the province of Hammerfell.
It is said that the First Aldmeri Dominion ruled from this cape all the way to the Topal Bay. [1], and it was for this reason that Stros M'Kai was so important to the region. [2]
During the First Era, the Cyrodiilics routinely raided this cape until the arrival of the Yokudans (later known as Redguards. [3]
