Chitin Cuirass are a type of Chitin Armor found in The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind. Its effectiveness is determined by the characters skill level in Light Armor. The character can buy this armor from Arrille's Tradehouse in Seyda Neen, the starting town, as well as a number of other locations.
