Background
Klimmek, a resident of Ivarstead, has a conversation with Gwilin about making the trip up the 7,000 steps to High Hrothgar. Klimmek mentions that he was planning on delivering supplies to the Greybeards, as he has done in the past, but that he is unable to do so as the path is too dangerous this time around.
Gwilin: "On your way up the 7,000 Steps again, Klimmek?"
Klimmek: "Not today. I'm just not ready to make the climb to High Hrothgar. The path isn't safe."
Gwilin: "Aren't the Greybeards expecting some supplies?"
Klimmek: "Honestly, I'm not certain. I've yet to be allowed into the monastery. Perhaps one day."
Walkthrough
Retrieving the Supplies
Asking Klimmek about the trip to High Hrothgar will result in him telling the Dragonborn about delivering supplies to the Greybeards, and that he is currently unable due to his age and the path becoming more dangerous as of late. The Dragonborn may offer themselves to make the delivery for Klimmek and will so receive Klimmek's Supplies from him. The quest objective directs the Dragonborn to a large chest just outside the monastery.
7,000 Steps
When taking the path up the mountain to High Hrothgar, the Dragonborn may encounter frostbite spiders, wolves, and frost trolls. The quest objective is completed when Klimmek's Supplies are placed in the chest.
Reward
The reward is a leveled sum; the Dragonborn may receive 500
from levels one to nine, with the amount of gold received increasing by 250 for every tenth level up to level forty.
