Conjure Flame Atronach is a Apprentice-level Conjuration spell in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Casting it summons a Flame Atronach for 60 seconds, for a base cost of 150 . Upon death, the Atronach explodes, causing fire damage to all around, including the summoner. If time expires while the Atronach is alive, she does not explode. Conjure Flame Atronach is one of various spells Faralda asks the Dragonborn to cast before gaining entrance into The College of Winterhold.

Conjured Daedra cannot be Soul Trapped. Flame Atronachs count as Lesser Daedra, meaning the spell Banish Daedra and its superior form, Expel Daedra, returns them to Oblivion. Cloak spells such as Lightning Cloak damage summoned Atronachs. Flame Atronachs are resistant to area of effect fire spells such as Fireball.

PerksEdit

• The perk, "Summoner" allows Atronachs to be summoned at a greater distance.
• "Atromancy" doubles the duration in which as conjured Flame Atronach stays on the field.
• "Oblivion Binding" allows Atronachs summoned by the Dragonborn or other conjurers to be banished when attacked by bound weapons.
• "Elemental Potency" increases damage done by Atronachs by 50%
• "Twin Souls" allows two Flame Atronachs, or one Flame Atronach and another conjured Daedra to be on the field simultaneously.
• Although elementally fire, Flame Atronachs are not affected by the Destruction perk, "Augmented Flames".

AcquisitionEdit

• Farengar Secret-Fire at Dragonsreach and Phinis Gestor sell this Spell Tome for upwards of 300 upon reaching Conjuration level 25.
• If Faralda requests that the spell be cast, the Dragonborn may purchase it for 30 .
• At the Atronach Forge, the Tome can be made using a Bear pelt, Dragons tongue, Fire salts, and a Ruined book
