Crafting Certification is a quest available in The Elder Scrolls Online. Completing it unlocks certification quests in each of six professions: Alchemist, Enchanter, Provisioner, Blacksmith, Clothier, and Woodworker. Each certification allows the Vestige to fulfill Crafting Writs for that profession.

Background

Master crafters are offering free training and certification in their professions. Crafting certification will allow me to fulfill crafting writs.

Objectives

Walkthrough

When the Vestige reaches level 6, master crafters Millenith and Danel Telleno appear in certain major cities, and a notice appears on all Consumables and Equipment requisition boards across Tamriel.

<You notice a prominent handbill on the requisition board.>
"Name (Ruler of the player's alliance or a representative of the current zone.) extends an invitation! Master crafters await you in city (Major city in the player's alliance or in the current zone)! They offer free training for those new to a craft, and free certification for accomplished crafters!"
"Unskilled crafters will be certified after a brief training. Skilled crafters will be certified immediately. The masters charge no fee for certification. Certification is mandatory to fulfill Crafting Writs!"
"Interested parties should seek out Millenith for Blacksmith, Clothier, and Woodworker certification. Speak with Danel Telleno for Provisioner, Enchanter, and Alchemist certification."

The quest can be started by reading the notice, or by speaking to Millenith or Danel. They can be found in the following cities, typically in or near their respective guild halls or near the crafting stations:

• Daggerfall (only if player's alliance is Daggerfall Covenant)
• Davon's Watch (only if player's alliance is Ebonheart Pact)
• Vulkhel Guard (only if player's alliance is Aldmeri Dominion)
• Leyawiin ^BW
• Solitude ^GM (in Yew and Feather)
• Rimmen ^EW
• Vivec City ^O:M
• Alinor ^SM

After starting the quest, speak to Danel, Millenith, or both to hear explanations of the professions for which they offer certification. Then choose one of them to complete the quest.

After the quest

Following this quest, Millenith and Danel will each offer three short quests to teach and certify you in their respective professions:

Danel Telleno

• Enchanter Certification
• Provisioner Certification

Millenith

• Blacksmith Certification
• Clothier Certification
• Woodworker Certification

Only one of these certification quests can be active at a time. Each certification allows the Vestige to complete daily Crafting Writs, short quests to craft particular items. Completing all six certifications will unlock the crafting achievement "Certified Jack-of-All-Trades".

A seventh, Jewelry Crafting Certification, is available from Felarian in Alinor, but differs in that it can be completed before this quest and can be active at the same time as another certification quest.
