Locations
Edit
Unenchanted Daedric Daggers will begin to appear throughout Skyrim at level 46 and enchanted daggers can be found at level 47, albeit very rarely. These locations include:
- Blacksmiths and General Goods Merchants.
- Found as random loot in chests.
- Enchanted daggers dropped as random loot by Revered or Legendary Dragons.
Smithing
Edit
The Daedric Dagger requires a Smithing level of 90 and the Daedric Smithing perk to create. It can be forged at a blacksmith's forge with the following components:
- 1 x Daedra Heart
- 1 x Leather Strip
- 1 x Ebony Ingot
It can be improved with an Ebony Ingot at a grindstone and also benefits from the Daedric Smithing perk, which doubles the improvement.
Atronach Forge
Edit
A Daedric Dagger can also be crafted at the Atronach Forge, however to do so requires a Sigil Stone that can only be obtained via Conjuration Master Training, which in itself requires a Conjuration skill of 90.
The Atronach Forge requires the following components to forge a Daedric Dagger:
- 1 x Daedra Heart
- 1 x Ebony Dagger
- 1 x Centurion Dynamo Core
- 1 x Black Soul Gem (empty or filled)
A Sigil Stone (Skyrim) is required to activate the forge but is not consumed.
Trivia
Edit
- Two can be seen in a loading screen being duel-wielded by a Dunmer in Dark Brotherhood armor. An interesting note is that he holds the knives in an icepick grip, which is impossible in game, except when power attacking with dual-wielded daggers.
- The Daedric Dagger has the second highest base damage of all of the daggers, tied with Mehrunes' Razor. The first in damage being the Blade of Woe and the Dragonbone Dagger.
