The Daedric Helmet is a piece of heavy armor and part of the Daedric Armor set.

It has a higher base armor rating than the dragonplate helmet. The only headpieces with a higher base rating are Konahrik, The Jagged Crown, Shellbug Helmet, and the Visage of Mzund.

Locations

Unenchanted helmets will begin to appear throughout Skyrim at level 48 and enchanted variants can be found at level 49. These locations include:

Smithing

A Daedric helmet requires a Smithing level of 90 and the Daedric Smithing perk to forge. It can be crafted at a blacksmith's forge with the following components:

It can be upgraded with an ebony ingot at a workbench and also benefits from the Daedric Smithing perk, which doubles the improvement.

Atronach Forge

A Daedric helmet can also be crafted at the Atronach Forge, but it requires a Sigil Stone that can only be obtained via Conjuration Ritual Spell, which in itself requires a Conjuration skill of 90. The Atronach Forge requires the following components to create a Daedric helmet:

Trivia

  • Upon wearing a Dragon Priest Mask and a Falmer helmet, then equipping a Daedric helmet, the Falmer helmet will remain equipped and any enchantments will continue to be in effect.
