Daedric Weapons are among the strongest weapons available in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, apart from unique weapons such as Daedric artifacts. Similar to their predecessors, Daedric weaponry in Skyrim possesses craftsmanship similar to Daedric armor, in that they feature sharp, jagged edges, are crafted from ebony, and possess red, glowing filigree. Smithed and randomly acquired Daedric weapons can be enchanted, via an Arcane Enchanter, with Soul Gems, with the exclusion of Daedric Arrows.

Acquisition

Daedric weapons can be found in chests or dungeons as random loot at high levels.
SmithingEdit
In order to craft Daedric weapons, the player must have both obtained a Smithing skill level of at least 90 and learned the Daedric Smithing perk. Smithing Daedric weapons employs Leather Strips, Ebony Ingots, and Daedra Hearts, with the exclusion of Daedric Arrows, which cannot be crafted.

Atronach ForgeEdit
Daedric weaponry can also be crafted at the Atronach Forge, however to do so requires a Sigil Stone that can only be obtained via the Conjuration Ritual Spell, which requires a Conjuration skill of 90 to initiate.
The Atronach Forge requires the following components to forge a Daedric weapon:
- Sigil Stone
- 1 Daedra Heart
- 1 Ebony weapon of the desired type
- 1 Centurion Dynamo Core
- 1 Black Soul Gem (empty or filled)
A random Daedric weapon with a random enchantment can be obtained with the following components:
- Sigil Stone
- 1 Daedra Heart
- 1 Ebony Ingot
- 1 Silver Sword
- 1 Soul Gem (filled with Grand Soul)
TriviaEdit
- Bound weapons take on an ethereal quality, but use the same design as Daedric Weapons.
- When wielding a Daedric weapon, guards may say, "Who did you have to kill to get that blade?"
