This piece is granted by Gunmar if the Dawnguard are joined. It may later be bought, along with the other pieces from him.
If the Harkon's court has been joined, it can only be obtained from various members of the Dawnguard, such as Dawnguard Vampire Hunters and Dawnguard Scouts.
EnchantmentEdit
While wearing a complete set of Dawnguard Heavy Armor, the helmet grants 25% less damage from Vampire attacks and Drain Life spells.
SmithingEdit
It can be upgraded with Steel Ingot at a workbench and also benefits from the Advanced Armors perk, which doubles the improvement.
