Dawnguard Heavy Armor is a piece of heavy armor and part of the Dawnguard Heavy Armor set found in The Elder Scrolls V: Dawnguard.

It is available in two colors, brown and grey and is worn by several members of the Dawnguard.

This piece is given by Gunmar if the Dragonborn joins the Dawnguard. It may later be bought, along with the other pieces from him.

If Harkon's court has been joined, it can only be obtained by looting or pickpocketing members of the Dawnguard, such as Dawnguard vampire hunters and Dawnguard scouts.

While wearing a complete set of Dawnguard heavy armor, the armor grants 25% less damage from vampire attacks and drain life spells.

It can be upgraded with steel ingot at a workbench and also benefits from the Advanced Armors perk, which doubles the improvement.
