Dismay is a Dragon shout in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, which causes your enemies to flee in terror. The more powerful the shout, the higher level the enemy it will affect.

- Dispersing groups of lower level enemies.
- If the player is proficient in Illusion magic, Dismay is somewhat redundant, since, with relevant perks, the Illusion spells Rout and Hysteria can provide the same effect on much higher level enemies.
TriviaEdit
- Felldir the Old uses this Shout against Alduin in the final battle.
- If used on Alduin he will laugh and say, "Dovahkiin, do you think I will run?"
