The Dragon Priest Staff is an item which appears in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

AcquisitionEdit

The Dragon Priest Staff is found during the main quest The World-Eater's Eyrie on the dragon priest Nahkriin(Vengeance). It is used to open up the portal into Sovngarde to get help and defeat Alduin. To obtain the staff run up to Nahkriin before he picks up the staff and get his health very low. After he picks it up, kill him quickly and loot his body (do not forget to grab both the mask and the staff as this is the only chance left to get them).

The gate to Sovngarde should still be open, and if done right The Dragonborn should be right next to the portal. Quickly jump in and enjoy the new "unobtainable" staff (Note: Save before attacking Nahkriin as this may take a few tries, especially with weaker weapons). The Slow Time or Whirlwind Sprint shouts or the Windshear can help with this.

If The World-Eater's Eyrie was completed, the staff can be obtained on the PC by entering the console command "player.additem 0004de5b 1".

TriviaEdit

• The staff shares its effect with the Staff of the Storm Wall.
• Although this staff shares its name with Dragon Priest Staff (Wall of Fire), this weapon is unique in appearance.
• The staff is functionally identical to Hevnoraak's Staff.
