The Dragonbone War Axe is a One-Handed weapon found in The Elder Scrolls V: Dawnguard. It has the highest base damage of all war axes, but is also the heaviest.
Locations
One of the three Keepers in Soul Cairn may wield a Dragonbone War Axe, which can be looted off of its remains after killing it.
Smithing
The Dragonbone War Axe requires a Smithing level of 100 and the Dragon Smithing perk to create. It can be forged at a blacksmith's forge with the following components:
- 1 x Dragon Bone
- 1 x Ebony Ingot
- 2 x Leather Strips
It can be upgraded with a Dragon Bone at a grindstone and also benefits from the Dragon Armor perk, which doubles the improvement.
