Dragonscale Gauntlets are a piece of light armor and part of the Dragonscale Armor set found in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

LocationsEdit

Unenchanted gauntlets will begin to appear throughout Skyrim at level 46 and enchanted variants can be found at level 47. These locations include:

• Found as random loot in chests.
• Enchanted variants dropped as random loot by Revered or Legendary Dragons.

SmithingEdit

Dragonscale Gauntlets requires a Smithing level of 100 and the Dragon Smithing perk to forge. They can be crafted at a blacksmith's forge with the following components:

• 2 × Leather Strips
• 1 × Leather
• 2 × Dragon Scales
• 1 × Iron Ingot

They can be upgraded with Dragon Scales at a workbench and also benefits from the Dragon Smithing perk, which doubles the improvement.
