Draugr are undead creatures in the The Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind plug-in Bloodmoon. They are embalmed undead corpses of ancient Nords, long ago laid to rest, having since risen as the re-animated creatures they are today. There are many Skaal tests regarding the killing of these fierce monsters. The young men of the Skaal must prove their worthiness by killing them so that they then may considered men. Draugr can be found in the barrows across Solstheim.
Draugr are resistant to poison, frost, shock and paralysis. They are notably dangerous, swinging their undead arms violently; they are able to stun and nearly never miss a hit. It is recommended to come prepared (statistics-wise) when facing this form of undead.
- Draugr take their mythological inspiration and several traits from the draugr, undead creatures from Norse mythology.
- The Draugr in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim are dramatically different to the Draugr in Bloodmoon regarding appearance, as the ones in Skyrim walk normally and have blue eyes instead of red.
