During the Alliance War, Dune was attacked twice by Daedric Forces. Once in 2E 581, outside the city when a dolmen was opened on the outskirts of Dawnmead. The invaders were luckily defeated when a group of Fighters Guild hunters came to the city after seeing the events unfold in a dream[1].
