- For other uses, see Dwarven Gauntlets.
Dwarven Gauntlets are a piece of heavy armor and part of the Dwarven Armor set found in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
Physical appearance[]
Dwarven Gauntlets seem to be of composite construction, with the same minute scale-type backing seen on other pieces of the armor set. The gloves are surmounted with individual straight pieces appearing to be blades or stabilizers, each of which face out from the wearer's center. The fingers on each gauntlet are protected with individual metal pieces that flex at the wearer's joints.
Locations[]
Unenchanted armor will begin to appear throughout Skyrim at level 12 and enchanted variants can be found at level 13. These locations include:
- Blacksmiths and General Goods Merchants.
- Found as random loot in chests or as a world item.
Fixed locations[]
- Nchuand-Zel – a full set of Dwarven Armor behind an expert locked gate in the Nchuand-Zel Armory.
Smithing[]
Dwarven Gauntlets requires a Smithing level of 30 and the Dwarven Smithing perk to forge. They can be crafted at a blacksmith's forge with the following components:
- 1 × Dwarven Metal Ingot
- 2 × Leather Strips
- 1 × Iron Ingot
- 1 × Steel Ingot
They can be upgraded with a Dwarven Metal Ingot at a workbench and also benefits from the Dwarven Smithing perk, which doubles the improvement.
