Ebonmere
Quotebg
"The Ebonmere is a conduit through which Nocturnal influences our world. Not through magic or blessings, but purely through luck."
Gallus Desidenius[src]

The Ebonmere is a portal to Nocturnal's plane of Oblivion known as The Evergloam. The portal is located inside the Twilight Sepulcher in Skyrim. By stealing the Skeleton Key, Mercer Frey disrupted the portal, leaving Nocturnal nearly powerless in Nirn.

Nightingale Agent PlatformsEdit

The Nightingale Agent Platforms are a triad of symbols on the floor surrounding the Ebonmere in the Twilight Sepulcher. They are comprised of three motifs: the Crescent Moon Platform, the Half Moon Platform and the Full Moon Platform. Standing upon a platform will grant the power of that motif.

Crescent Moon PlatformEdit

Main article: Nightingale Shadow

Standing on this platform grants the Nightingale Shadow ability, which allows the Nightingale Agent to turn invisible once a day for 120 seconds.

Half Moon PlatformEdit

Main article: Nightingale Subterfuge

Standing on this platform grants the Nightingale Subterfuge ability, which allows the Nightingale to cause all people and creatures within the area of effect to attack each other for 30 seconds, once a day.

Full Moon PlatformEdit

Main article: Nightingale Strife

Standing on this platform grants the Nightingale Strife ability, which allows the Nightingale to shoot a pillar of dark energy into their victim, which causes them to absorb 100 points of health from them. It can only be used once a day.

QuestsEdit

TriviaEdit

  • When looking straight up while in the Ebonmere, where the skeleton key was inserted, one will see the full "dark moon", that is the part of the Nightingale insignia.
