The Eighteenth Legion was one of the Imperial Legions known to have existed throughout Tamriel. This one was known to have existed in the Fourth Era. Captain Evernal from the Kingdom of Rimmen was a former soldier in this division, as was denoted by the badge that he wore. ^[1]

• Historically, in 9 A.D., Rome's Legion XVIII was completely destroyed by Germanic tribes lead by Arminius of the Cherusci, along with Legions XVII and XIX and their auxiliary units (6 cohorts and 3 alae) lead by Publius Quinctilius Varus at the Batlle of the Teutoburg Forest.
