Elisif's Tribute is a quest available in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim in which the Dragonborn must place the war horn of the deceased High King of Skyrim, Torygg, for his widowed wife, Jarl Elisif the Fair.

Walkthrough[]
The Dragonborn must first complete the quest "The Man Who Cried Wolf" before this quest will become available. Once done, the Dragonborn can ask Elisif the Fair about her late husband, Toryyg, and will then ask the Dragonborn to take his war horn to a shrine to Talos in Whiterun Hold.
The Dragonborn, after accepting the quest, should then make their way to the shrine marked on the map to the northeast of Whiterun and place the war horn on the base of the statue of Talos. If the Dragonborn has not been to the shrine before, they will be attacked by a Thalmor Soldier and Agent Lorcalin, a Thalmor Mage. On the body of Lorcalin is a note from Elenwen ordering him to kill anyone at the shrine.
Once the war horn has been placed and the Thalmor killed, if necessary, the Dragonborn should return to Elisif. As a reward, she will allow the Dragonborn to purchase property in Solitude and advises them to assist the citizens of Haafingar so as to become the Thane of the hold.

- If Torygg's War Horn is pickpocketed from Jarl Elisif the Fair before the quest is started, it cannot be dropped until it has been placed at the Shrine of Talos as it is a quest item.
- Once placed at the shrine, Torygg's War Horn can be picked up again without penalty.
