The Elven Bow is an Archery weapon found in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.

LocationsEdit

Unenchanted Elven Bows will begin to appear throughout Skyrim at level 19 and enchanted bows can be found at level 20. These locations include:

• Blacksmiths and general goods merchants.
• Wielded by various characters or enemies.
• Found as random loot in chests or as a world item throughout Skyrim.

Fixed LocationsEdit

• Thalmor Justiciars typically carry these bows.
• One can be found in a locked (Expert) display case inside the Living Quarters of Jorrvaskr. Sometimes there is a bug where you can pick up the bow without opening the case by hovering the cursor around the right side of the case (worked on PC).
• Carried by Redoran guards in Dragonborn.

VariantsEdit

• Firiniel's End - A unique Elven bow that can be obtained on the balcony of Castle Dour in Solitude during Bound Until Death.

SmithingEdit

An Elven Bow requires a Smithing level of 30 and the Elven Smithing perk to create. It can be forged at a blacksmith's forge with the following components:

• 1 x Quicksilver Ingot
• 2 x Refined Moonstone

It can be upgraded with a Refined Moonstone ingot at a grindstone. The Elven Smithing perk doubles the improvement.
