The End of Times Cult members believe that the powers of the Tribunal gods, Almalexia, Sotha Sil, and Vivec, is waning. Their leader Eno Romari fortells the death of the three gods, which will be only a prelude to the end of the entire era. This transition time, according to him, will be a time of "great horror," as the Oblivion Gates will open and the Daedra will enter this world. The End of Times Cult members reject the idea, that the Daedra are the Dunmer's true ancestors and thus believe that this invasion from Oblivion will be a serious threat to the ones living on mortal plane. The aim of their organization is to make themselves and the whole mortal plane ready by alerting their real ancestors. To do so, their members commit ritual suicide by drinking poison, in so doing entering the realms of the ancestors. Their hope is that by doing so, they can unite enough ancestors, alerted by the dedicated cult members, to fight the daedra invasion.
The leader of the End of Times Cult is Eno Romari, who can be found outside The Winged Guar during the related quest "A Show of Power." There are at least seven members of the cult who have committed suicide, one of them being Meralyn Othan's brother Sevil.
During this quest, Almalexia sends the Nerevarine to find out more about the End of Times Cult. She in enraged that the cult claims that her powers are waning.
- At the time of The Elder Scrolls III: Tribunal, most people believed Eno Romari to be a lunatic, however his prophecies actually depict events that later occurred during The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, when the Gates of Oblivion opened, enabling Daedras to attack Tamriel. This also marked the end of the Third Era and the start of the Fourth Era.
