Expert Hunter is an active skill in the Fighters Guild skill line in The Elder Scrolls Online.

DescriptionEdit

20% chance on hit to deal an additional 32 Magic Damage to Undead and Daedric enemies, for 10-13 seconds. Killing an Undead or Daedric enemy increases duration by 15 seconds.

Evil HunterEdit

  • U6: Expert Hunter and its morphs now correctly scale off Power and Stamina, and the crit chance is calculated based on your Critical Strike chance. [2]

Camouflaged HunterEdit

  • U6: This ability now makes it less likely that you will be detected by Daedra while stealthed.[2]

  • U7: This ability's bonus damage from stealth now scales off weapon damage/critical. [3]

UpdatesEdit

  • U2: As of Update 2, All additional effects for Fighters Guild abilities now work against vampire player characters. [4]
  • U3: The FX for this ability no longer persists on dead monsters. [5]
  • U4: Damage from Silver Bolts, Expert Hunter, and Trap Beast is now based on stamina and weapon damage instead of magicka and spell power. [6]
  • U6: This ability now always provides you with the Major Weapon Crit buff. [2]
  • U6: This ability now lasts for 15 seconds and grants a 4% chance to deal additional damage to the target, with the chance increased to 15% against Daedra. [2]
  • U6: Expert Hunter and its morphs now correctly scale off Power and Stamina, and the crit chance is calculated based on your Critical Strike chance. [2]
  • U6: Damage over time and channeled abilities now have a chance to proc Expert Hunter on the first tick. [2]
  • U7: This ability is no longer multiplied by the stealth critical damage bonus if it is used before entering stealth, it will now behave consistently if used before or after entering stealth. [3]
  • U7: The effects to sense evil have been moved to the torso area, with a larger version included for titans. [3]
  • U7: Increased the internal cooldown for procs to 2.5 seconds from 1.5 seconds. [3]
  • U8: Fixed an issue where this ability could proc off siege damage.[7]
  • U9: Fixed an issue where the weapon visual effects from abilities such as Grim Focus, Siphoning Strikes, and Expert Hunter could get visually detached from the weapon. [8]
