- Not to be confused with Sergeant Faldrus.
- "I'm on a pilgrimage to the Shrine of Azura, the Goddess of Twilight. If you'll excuse me."
- ―Faldrus[src]
Faldrus is a Dunmer on a pilgrimage to the Shrine of Azura.
Random encounter[]
He is a random encounter, and can be found wandering in the wilderness. The Dragonborn has the option of traveling with him to the shrine, or Faldrus can tell the exact location of the shrine to Dragonborn and marks it on their map. He can lead the Dragonborn to the Shrine, possibly starting the Daedric Quest "The Black Star."
If Faldrus is killed, he may be found in a second random encounter, so killing him is of no consequence. Even if Faldrus does not show up in a second random encounter, he may show up at the Shrine of Azura.
Dialogue[]
"I'm on a pilgrimage to the Shrine of Azura, the Goddess of Twilight. If you'll excuse me."
- Where is this shrine? "In the mountains to the northeast. I'll mark it on your map."
Trivia[]
- Faldrus may attack the Dragonborn if they have a high bounty in The Rift, due to him belonging to its crime faction and having a no crime morality.

- 360 If Faldrus is encountered after completing "The Black Star" and one choose to return the star to Aranea Ienith, speaking to Faldrus will add a quest marker on your map pointing towards Aranea that can not be removed. Since she is a potential follower, though, this may be a beneficial bug in order to find her easier.
