Fetch Me That Book! is a quest available in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. This is a College of Winterhold radiant quest where the Dragonborn needs to find a random book from a random dungeon.

After completing the quest "First Lessons," the Dragonborn can enter the College of Winterhold and find Urag gro-Shub inside The Arcanaeum. He will then give a quest to retrieve a random book out of this list, that can be found inside a random boss-level chest in any dungeon in the game, even if it was cleared before. It is best to avoid picking them up from the boss-level chests before this quest is started may result in a serious bug (see Bugs section). The books needed to obtained in a given random order are:

Journal Entry
  • Objective: Find the copy of <radiant book>
  • Objective: Return the book to Urag gro-Shub
  • Quest complete

  • The books Urag requests can sometimes be bought from him. However, these books are not marked for the quest, can be dropped, and cannot be used to complete the quest.
