Not to be confused with Akaviri.

Akorithi was a Redguard, and the Queen of the city-state of Sentinel in Hammerfell. She and her husband, Camaron of Sentinel, ruled a large swathe of land in northern Hammerfell. However, her husband was killed at the Battle of Cryngaine Field during the War for Betony, and she was forced to step down from her position as Queen of Sentinel. She produced two male heirs for Camaron, Greklith and Lhotun, as well as giving birth to their eldest child and daughter Aubk'i.

"You should be warned, neither Wayrest nor Daggerfall are loyal to the throne. I am the only regent on the Iliac Bay that can be trusted."
―Akorithi[src]

Sometime after the agent of Uriel Septim VII helped Prince Lhotun gain information about the eldest son of the royal family of Sentinel, he received a summons from Queen Akorithi. The Queen asked the agent to retrieve a painting from somewhere in Wayrest Castle. She claimed the painting was an heirloom of the now deceased King Lysandus of Daggerfall. The painting was somehow magical, the scene in the painting shifted and twisted. The agent clearly could see the inside of a tent. Several men in the livery of Wayrest were intensely arguing with a man bearing the coat of arms of Daggerfall. One of the Wayrest men slipped behind the Daggerfall man, drew a dagger, and casually slid it between his ribs. The image then disappeared as soon as the life ebbed from his body, and then started over again.

Queen Akorithi was one of the wielders of the Numidium. She was one of the seven retrievers of the Totem of Tiber Septim, a tool for controlling the Dwemer construct. Originally, there was only one Totem of Tiber Septim, but a strange time-warping effect known as the Warp in the West made all seven parties of the Iliac Bay receive the Totem.

Several years after the Warp of the West, a plague struck Sentinel. The plague took the Queen's life as well as Crown Prince Greklith's life, leaving the throne to Prince Lhotun.

Interactions[]

The Missing Prince[]

The Agent can deliver the Death Certificate to Akorithi, instead of Prince Lhotun. Doing so, however, results in quest failure.

Painting the Truth[]

Akorithi will ask the Agent to infiltrate Castle Wayrest and steal a painting from within its treasury.

Lysandus' Revenge[]

The Agent can deliver Lord Woodborne's Private Journal VII to Akorithi. Doing so, however, will not lead to quest completion and grants no rewards.

Totem, Totem, Who Gets the Totem?[]

Akorithi is one of the candidates who can be given the Totem of Tiber Septim. She rewards the Hero with 100,000 gold if it is delivered to her.

Journey to Aetherius[]

If the Totem of Tiber Septim was given to Akorithi, she uses the power of the Numidium to make Sentinel the dominant kingdom in the Iliac Bay.

A Deceptive Escort[]

Queen Akorithi is a victim of Lord K'avar's plot to take over Sentinel.

Capture or Kill[]

Either capture or kill K'avar for his treason against Sentinel.

Dialogue[]

Painting the Truth

"Agent (Player name)! Welcome to Sentinel. I trust you have had a comfortable stay so far. Let me get right to the point. My son, Prince Lhotun, says you are a well respected and trusted Breton (Race). I have need of your sort. I am willing to pay you 619 (Random amount) gold to infiltrate Castle Wayrest and recover an heirloom of the late King Lysandus for me. Will you do it?"

Yes "What Bounty! There is an item, a painting, that is hidden somewhere within Castle Wayrest. I desire this item for reasons you need not worry about. Bring it to me and I will pay your 619 (Random amount) gold."
No "[?]"

Upon returning with the painting:

"Did you attempt to use the painting?"

Yes "You presume much Agent (Player name). What you saw is not for the prying eyes of the masses. It concerns matters of royalty and will be dealt with by royalty."
No "Excellent. Its properties are inappropriate for those not of royal blood. You have shown yourself to be not only loyal, but also obedient."
Lysandus' Revenge

"This means little to me. It is trash fit only for being burnt. Gothryd and Woodborne plotting to kill Lysandus. Really! Go away."

Totem, Totem, Who Gets the Totem?

"The Totem of Tiber Septim! It is a priceless artifact. I shall guard it well and keep the rebellious powers of Daggerfall and Wayrest in check. Take your reward Agent (Player name). You have earned it ten fold. You must keep your keen eyes open for the Mantella. Any rumors must be hunted down with vigor. Without the Mantella, the Totem is useless."

A Deceptive Escort

"There can be no doubt. This is his personal seal and signature. Guards! Go to the Great Hall and seize Lord K'avar at once, and throw him in the dungeon."

If K'avar has already escaped:

"Yes? What's this letter? Dear Akatosh, Lord K'avar is plotting against me?! Guards! Search the Castle for Lord K'avar and bring him to me at once."
Several guards run from the room. A few minutes later one returns. With a salute, he reports that Lord K'avar is nowhere to be found. Queen Akroithi turns to you:
"He must have been alerted that his treason was about to be uncovered. Most likely he has retired to this Castle Necromoghan (Location) he refers to in his letter. Under the circumstances, I would prefer to avoid a direct attack. You are familiar with the area, yes? Would you perform one more service for me and bring this traitor to justice?"

Yes "Agent (Player name), you are proving most loyal to the throne of Sentinel. I will wait 30 (Time limit) days before assaulting Lord K'avar's fortress. I hereby proclaim Lord K'avar outlaw -- capture him if you can, but kill him if you must."
No "Very well. I will deal with him myself. You alerted me to a grave threat to the realm. Please accept my sincere thanks as well as this 400 (Amount) gold."

If K'avar is killed:

"So be it. Lord K'avar chose his course, and paid the consequences, thanks to you. Here is an enchanted Ring (Item) for your service to Sentinel."

If K'avar escaped:

"By the Sands of Elsweyr! Lord K'avar is a slippery one, indeed. Well, I will track him down eventually, never fear. Sentinel's justice will pursue him wherever he may hide. His associates have all been arrested or fled the realm, so Lord K'avar no longer poses any threat, at least. Agent (Player name), please accept this enchanted Ring (Item) for your service to Sentinel."

Capture or Kill

"Ah, Agent (Player name). I was hoping you would come. My spies have located the elusive Lord K'avar. He has turned up at the court of Wayrest, of all places, apparently trying to obtain support for his pathetic claim to my throne. Wayrest would not be so rash as to openly give refuge to a convicted traitor to Sentinel, but he is hiding somewhere in Castle Wayrest, and I want you to find him and bring him back. Alive if possible, but kill him if necessary. Do not let him escape again."

If K'avar is captured:

"Well, well, if it isn't my loyal Lord K'avar, come back to me. Did you really believe you could escape my wrath? Guards, take him downstairs and execute him immediately.Agent (Player name), I knew I could count on you. The friendship of the Queen of Sentinel is reward enough, but I have prepared some more tangible gifts as well."

If K'avar is killed:

"Lord K'avar deserved death. I would have preferred to execute him publicly, as an example to others of his ilk, but I am pleased that this sordid matter is finally closed. Agent (Player name), I knew I could count on you. The friendship of the Queen of Sentinel is reward enough, but I have prepared some more tangible gifts as well."

Description[]

"Queen of Sentinel. She is the widow of Cameron, who was killed at the end of the War of Betony. Her two sons are Lhotun and Greklith. Her eldest child is Aubk-i, the Queen of Daggerfall."
