The Shellbug Helmet is a heavy armor helmet found in The Elder Scrolls V: Dawnguard.
Smithing[]
A shellbug helmet can be forged at a blacksmith's forge with the following components:
- 2 × Shellbug Chitin
- 2 × Iron Ingot
It can be upgraded with a shellbug chitin at a workbench. It benefits from the Advanced Armors smithing perk.

Trivia[]
- It is considered a piece of Falmer armor and, if worn with a set of Falmer armor, will receive the "Full Set" armor bonus if that perk has been chosen.
- This helmet currently has the third highest base armor rating of any helmet.
- It is the only piece of armor that appears under the misc category in the blacksmith forge.
