Dragonscale Armor is a piece of light armor and part of the dragonscale armor set found in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
Locations[]
Unenchanted Armor will begin to appear throughout Skyrim at level 46 and enchanted variants can be found at level 47. These locations include:
- Found as random loot in chests.
- Enchanted variants dropped as random loot by Revered or Legendary Dragons.
Smithing[]
Dragonscale Armor requires a Smithing level of 100 and the Dragon Armor perk to forge. It can be crafted at a blacksmith's forge with the following components:
- 3 × Leather Strips
- 1 × Leather
- 4 × Dragon Scales
- 2 × Iron Ingot
It can be upgraded with Dragon Scales at a workbench and also benefits from the Dragon Armor perk, which doubles the improvement.
