Fur Armor is a piece of light armor and part of the Fur Armor set found in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. It shares its base armor rating with the Stormcloak Cuirass.
Variants[]
There are four different variations of this armor, but all have the same stats:
- Full body with sleeves
- Bare torso
- Bare torso with shawl
- Full body, sleeveless
Locations[]
Unenchanted armor will begin to appear throughout Skyrim at level 1. These locations include:
- Found as random loot in chests or as a world item.
- Worn by bandits.
- Worn by reavers.DR
Smithing[]
Fur Armor can be upgraded at a workbench with Leather, however it does not benefit from any Smithing perks. This means the armor cannot be improved past flawless quality without boosting the Smithing skill over 100. This can be achieved by using enchanted items and/or blacksmithing potions to fortify Smithing.
