Librarian Bradyn is a Dunmer librarian who manages the Library of Vivec in the Temple Canton of Vivec City. He has been composing a map of Vvardenfell from rubbings found across ancestral tombs on the island, in search of the Library of Andule.

"Have you come to see our wonder in miniature? Our magnificent tribute to Morrowind? Alas, the work is not yet complete. And, truth be told, there is more to our miniature Vvardenfell than simply a representation of our land at a reduced scale."
- You're building a model of Vvardenfell? "Indeed! And once complete us to the location of the lost Library of Andule, the secret repository of the knowledge of the Great Houses. I just need someone to help me handle the legwork, as it were."
- What kind of help do you need? "Well, that's the rub. Literally. The ancient families of Vvardenfell hid the location of the library and then placed clues to find it at their ancestral tombs. I need someone to take rubbings of these clues. Will you help me solve this mystery?"
- I'll go get a rubbing. "Excellent! Let's start with a simple one. Head north of Vivec and travel to the Othrelas Ancestral Tomb. Look for a stone plaque near the tomb and take a rubbing of the words inscribed upon it. Return to me with the rubbing and … well, you'll see."
- Tell me about the ancestral tombs. "Every important family owns at least one tomb. Of course, I'm most interested in those that predate the rise of the Great Houses. Specifically, we're hoping to recover records presumed lost during the War of the First Council."
- What kind of records? "Oh, genealogical records related to the earliest Velothi settlers. It could improve our understanding of the origins of the Great Houses a hundredfold. And who knows what other lost knowledge waits within the library? It really is quite exciting!"

- How can I help you complete the rest of the model? "My research indicated that thirty of your most revered families each left a clue to the location of the Library of Andule. Find the remaining twenty-nine tombs, take rubbings, and before long our model will be complete and the location revealed."
After the quest, if you have the rubbing:
"As you recover more rubbings, return here to me. With every detail we add to our model, the closer we get to discovering the location of the lost library! I prepared a list of the tombs you need to find. Refer to the note as you conduct your search."

- Do you know how to find the lost Library of Andule now? "Indubitably, thanks to your efforts. Every rubbing you brought back not only helped complete the model, but it also provided another clue as to the location of the lost library. What isn't present is the key!"
- What do you mean, what isn't present? "That gap in the model – that's where we'll find the lost Library of Andule! Once you go and locate the exact spot, we can start examining the records related to our earliest Velothi settlers. What do you say? Ready for one more adventure?"
- All right. I'll go the location indicated on the model and see what I can find.

After you retrieve the genealogies return from the library:
"Was the Library of Andule in the location revealed by our model? And was it filled with ancient knowledge once thought lost?"
- I found the lost library and retrieved these genealogies for you to examine. "You recovered the lost genealogies of the Great Houses? Why, these date back to before the War of the First Council. Remarkable! You have done a great service for this library and all of Morrowind, outlander."
- What do the genealogies tell you? "Nothing yet! I need to catalog them, study the ancient script, and make suitable translations. But given time, the Great Houses will see the value in this project and reward our efforts accordingly. In the meantime, take this with my gratitude."
