Linwe's Boots are a piece of light armor and part of Linwe's Armor Set in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
Acquisition[]
They can be found on the corpse of Linwe during the Thieves Guild quest "Summerset Shadows."
Smithing[]
Linwe's Boots can be upgraded at a workbench with leather and the Arcane Blacksmith perk, however they do not benefit from any Smithing perks. This means the armor cannot be improved past flawless quality without boosting the Smithing skill over 100. This can be achieved by using enchanted items and/or blacksmithing potions to fortify Smithing.
Enchantment[]
Wearing this piece of armor grants the following skill bonuses:
- Fortify Sneak: 15 points. The boots can be disenchanted for their enchantment, however the enchantments are considered unique and cannot be used on any other equipment, effectively wasting the boots.
