Last Vigil is a Camp in The Rift. It can be found northeast of Fort Greenwall and southeast of Ruunvald Excavation up in the Velothi Mountains in Skyrim.

The Dragonborn will help a hardened adventurer get into Sovngarde. Note that level 80 must be reached in order to get the Ebony Warrior to seek out the Dragonborn and to start the quest.

Slightly down the slope, some skeletal remains are found next to a pair of monk boots and the Destruction skill book called The Art of War Magic.

Trivia

• Without Dragonborn installed, this location is called Miner's Camp: Velothi Mountains (unmarked location). A leveled snow creature was supposed to be an enemy here instead of the corpse of it.
• This is the only location with the Dragonborn add-on that is not found on Solstheim.

•  PC   If a follower is dismissed at Last Vigil, they will not start walking home. Even after fast travel they will often, but not always, still be there. This allows "dropping off" multiple followers who will all join the fight against the Ebony Warrior once he becomes hostile.
