"I'm Newheim, Anvil harbormaster. I'm responsible for all harbor traffic, docks, duties and fees in Anvil harbor."
―Newheim the Portly[src]

Newheim the Portly is a rosy-cheeked Nord citizen living in the town of Anvil. Newheim the Portly's House is located next to Pinarus Inventius' house near the Fighters Guild.

He is most often found on the Gold Coast docks outside of Anvil. He is an avid drinker; the quest "Newheim's Flagon" is directly related to him.

Interactions[]

Newheim's Flagon[]

Retrieve Newheim's family heirloom from Hrota Cave.

Dialogue[]

"I'm Newheim, Anvil harbormaster. I'm responsible for all harbor traffic, docks, duties and fees in Anvil harbor."

Anvil "Traffic through Anvil harbor comes mostly in exotic, high-profit goods easy to transport by road or Mages Guild couriers to eastern markets."

Den of Thieves[]

"Hail! What can Newheim the Portly do for you?"

Thieves "Aye. I know about those scum. Rotten bastards robbed me blind, they did. Stole a family heirloom. Bunch of Bosmer, if you can believe it! No offense to your friend, of course. Last I heard, they were holed up in Hrota Cave, not too far from here."
Heirloom "Took my flagon, they did! Passed down to me from my father Rulf, and from his father Torbalt. It's a wondrous cup. Keeps ale cold and sweet. Been drinking from a lousy wooden tankard since. It's just not the same. If you can find it, you'd have the gratitude of Newheim the Portly."
Hrota Cave "You'll find it north of Anvil. Good luck, and give it to those bastards good."

"You go get 'em! And whip their asses for Newheim!"

Newheim's Flagon[]

Heirloom (Obtained during "Den of Thieves") "Took my flagon, they did! Passed down to me from my father Rulf, and from his father Torbalt. It's a wondrous cup. Keeps ale cold and sweet. Been drinking from a lousy wooden tankard since. It's just not the same. If you can find it, you'd have the gratitude of Newheim the Portly."
"You go get 'em! And whip their asses for Newheim!"
(After returning with the Flagon)
"Hail! What can Newheim the Portly do for you?"

Heirloom "Ah, you've got it! Thank the gods! Finally, my mead will stay cold and won't taste like goblin piss. Take these, and my thanks."

Trivia[]

  • Despite the moniker, Newheim uses the same body model as other Nord males and is no more or less portly than anyone else.
