Pothole Caverns lies south of the Faregyl Inn and southwest of the Inn of Ill Omen and faces away from the inns.
It is a fairly large, single level cave filled with leveled undead and Necromancers. Inside is a large room where the necromancers have built two altars for sacrificing and worship.
