The Oil Spider is a spider scroll found in The Elder Scrolls V: Dragonborn.
Usage[]
Used like a scroll, this places an Oil Spider on the ground that secretes a flammable oil. The oil can be ignited with a fire spell.
Crafting[]
These spiders can be crafted in White Ridge Sanctum using the Imbuing Chamber and the following components:
- 1 × Albino Spider Pod
- 1 × Dwarven Oil
This recipe yields one spider. In addition, after crafting the spider, the following recipe note is added to the inventory:

- The Oil Spider's appearance is identical to the Mind Control Spider.
