Bravil Skooma Den is a small two floor apartment in The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion that is in the north-east part of Bravil, where several addicts can be found drinking Skooma. The Den is located upstairs, above Carandial's House, opposite A Warlock's Luck and near the back of Dro'shanji's House, which faces the Bravil Fighters Guild. One can see the skooma addicts drinking from a relatively large purple flask – which is an easy way to discover the location of the Den, as the drinkers can often be seen outside on the first or second floor of the building.

Overview[]

The Den is an excellent source of skooma, as the name suggests, as each of the inhabitants carries around five to fifteen bottles of it and does not seem to care if the Hero pick-pockets said items from them, with the exception of Roxanne Brigette, who will report the crime, if caught. To minimize the chances of being caught, especially with a lower Sneak level, it may be advisable to pickpocket smaller quantities of skooma at a time, instead of trying to take all of the available flasks in one go.

In addition to the inhabitants, several chests can also be found inside – at least one of which may contain skooma. Some of these chests are locked and their locks must be picked first, however.

Inside, there are three beds upstairs and one downstairs, none of which are owned, meaning that if the Hero would like, they could sleep there as often as they wanted. Every Sundas, the Count's son, Gellius Terentius, visits the Skooma Den to drink skooma. The other inhabitants all sleep in the Den regularly and do not seem to do much else all day, except drink skooma and eat.

  • The people outside the Skooma Den will sometimes have no visible lips when they drink, so their teeth can be seen. The Purple Skooma flask they specifically drink from may also disappear while they are drinking from it.
  • They can still talk while drinking Skooma.
  • Sometimes the door is locked and it is impossible to get inside without picking the lock. (Lock level Hard)
