Background[]
I wandered into a strange rift between the living world and the land of the dead. Here, I met the spirit of Sonya Lastblood, who said that her husband killed her and her three daughters.

Walkthrough[]
South of the Jorunn's Stand Wayshrine, the Vestige will encounter the spirit of Sonya Lastblood. She will tell you that her husband went insane during the akaviri invasion, and killed their three daughters and scattered their remains throughout Eastmarch. She wishes to be reunited with her daughters in the afterlife, so she asks you to find their remains. The only hint she has is a page from her husband's journal.
The page will direct you to Windhelm, specifically to an alleyway between The Sober Nord Tavern and the merchant district. The skull will be next to one of the tombstones outside the Hall of the Dead. Once you have it, another page of the journal will appear, which will direct you to the remains of the second daughter. It will mention a ruined dragon shrine near Wittestadr.
The dragon shrine in question is Bonestrewn Crest. The skull will be east of the entrance, atop a rock. you will not be able to see it from Bonestrewn Crest due to a rock formation, so look behind that. Upon finding the skull, another journal page will appear and tell you where to find the last skull. It will direct you to a horse ranch in southern Eastmarch.
Your target is an unmarked location southeast of Old Sord's Cave and southwest of Icewind Peaks Dolmen. The skull will be behind the building. Make sure to also pick up the skyshard nearby, hidden by rock formations. Once you have all the skulls, return to where you first met Sonya and give them to her. She will be grateful that you returned the skulls, but then she will say some unsettling things about her and her daughters craving power, and about corpses and craving blood. she says she will let you live, but that you should not try to stop her. She will then disappear.
Look for Sonya's husband, Hadmal Lastblood. He will be in Jorunn's Stand. He will tell you that his wife was a worshipper of Molag Bal, and that she planned to sacrifice her daughters to the prince before Hadmal killed them. He says that she will most likely be performing the ritual at a shrine to the south, and will ask you to help him stop her.
The shrine is at Hammerhome, in the far southeast of Eastmarch. Sonya's ritual fuses her spirit with her daughters into a being called The Lastblood. Kill this being, and then return to where you met Hadmal in Jorunn's Stand. You will not find Hadmal, but you will find his farewell message. In it, he states that you will not hear from him again, and that he has left a chest by his tent containing your reward for putting an end to his wife's schemes.
