• Find Roggi Knot-Beard either in the Braidwood Inn in Kynesgrove or in the Steamscorch Mine located up the hill on the left side of the tavern.
• Roggi tells the story about how his relative/ancestor stumbles into a cave and loses the ancestral shield and asks the Dragonborn to help him retrieve it.
• The shield's location is random, depending on where Roggi tells the Dragonborn to find it.
