I gained access to the Cistern, where my intention was to wipe thieves Guild off Skyrim once for all;

But the problem comes, that Thieves guild members are not killalble.

Anyone had anyidea how to wipe them out?

IMO, you cannot simply "wipe out" the thief guild because:

1. Most characters in the guild are tagged "essential NPC". Thats mean you CANNOT kill them by any means (except by console commands if you THAT desperate)
2. The guild is the source for many side missions (some of it are AWESOME) so to avoid the player to miss it some of the guild members (mostly the mission giver) cannot be killed.
3. Also, the thieves guild has many part in various important side missions so to avoid conflict with other missions, the guild cannot be destroyed.

For me, I prefered not to kill/make enemies with thieves guild because they can provides extra money trading, plus they will even buy your stolen items. Butttt yeah, in the other hand killing innocent people can be fun too...

You can't because of one good reason:

The guildmaster, Mercer Frey is the only NPC that can open the gate in Snow Veil Sanctum which the door will be only opened during the quest: Speaking With Silence.

There is a Shout wall there so that will interfere with the your shouting progress if u end up killing him because he has no key and its a quest action when he opens the sanctum gate.

NOTE: Thats my opinion on this i can be wrong and correct me if i am but that was the only way i manage to enter that place cause i tried the back door where you leave the sanctum but remains unusuable till you get trought the quest.

OBS: I think the developers should allow us to wipe the guild cause there are so many reasons and possibilities to get the Skeleton key from Mercer and finnish them off for good, one of them wich proboly most of us agree is Maven Black-Briar (just seeing her as Jarl of Riften when i pick the empire makes me sick).Muria ^(talk) 06:39, January 5, 2012 (UTC)Muria

So stupid that essentials even exist in a game like that...

If someone wants to kill the thieves, he should be able to...
