I'm sure that we can all agree on something about Skyrim. It's one of the MOST annoying features (for me, at least) in the entirety of the game.

Maximum range on arrows and spells (mostly arrows for me). Some people have known of this for a while and are just as infuriated. Others may have seen it and simply thought it was due to their poor accuracy at range. Well this is not the case. After a certain range, all arrows/bolts and spells clip through targets dealing no damage.

The problem isn't that it happens, the problem is the distance at which it happens, and I'm tired of it. After around 75m for bows (that's being generous really, it's probably less than that) arrows do no damage. And most of the time I can see the target. This is especially annoying when hunting mammoths and somehow I miss. It drives me insane. It takes away all the satisfaction. I want to be able to snipe someone, that's the point of a long range weapon. And honestly, this is insufferable.

I realize there's a fix for this if you're a member of the PC master race, but unfortunately I play on the Xbox 360, and I have no such luck unless I do something potentially illegal by hacking into the game.

So getting to the main point, does anyone think it's possible to request/petition to Bethesda to increase the maximum range? It's certainly not an issue of rendering, because even on PS3 and 360 the arrows still render, they just clip through targets. It's not even to increase the maximum range by a huge amount, just around another 25% - 35% increase. If we started something like a petition, would anyone be willing to sign it?
